Agiltron Introduces Large NxN Matrix Fiberoptic Switches

Wednesday, Jan 04, 2012

Agiltron, Inc., a leading provider of optical devices and sensor-based systems, announces the availability of its SelfAlign(TM) fiberoptic switches in large NxN formats up to 500x500 ports. The SelfAlign(TM) switch product family features ultra-low insertion loss (~1dB) regardless the port count and ultra-broad band (300 to 2000nm) operation at unprecedented low cost. Agiltron patent pending Selfalign(TM) V-groove technology eliminates the need for collimating lenses and optical coatings employed in traditional optical switches. The availability of these fiberoptic switches demonstrates Agiltron leadership in providing state-of-the-art optical light management products with ultra-high performance at a price-points never before available to designers.
