Eurotech Launches BestNet Fiber Optic Patch Cords

Monday, Mar 08, 2010

Eurotech Technologies recently launched BestNet fiber optic patch cord. Aimed at environments requiring strong protection of the network cable system, the cord is ideal for applications such as fiber-to-the-desk, broadcasting and FTTx.

The fiber patch cable features high-quality ceramic connectors at both ends.

“BestNet cord is especially suitable for harsh environments. By decreasing network installation time, patch cord maintenance and troubleshooting, network installers are now able to deliver a product that can deliver value and savings for their clients,” said Anuj Jain, Managing Director, Eurotech Technologies.

Eurotech offers combinations of SC, ST, LC, MTRJ, FC connector patch cords in both multimode (62.5/125µm and 50/125µm) and single mode (9/125µm) cable-types, in Duplex and Simplex versions.

According to the company, the higher durability of the fiber optic patch cord leads to lower maintenance costs, a longer mean time between maintenance and therefore a longer service life.
