Veraz Networks and LS Cable Team Up to Deliver Quad Play Service Solutions

Veraz Networks, Inc., (NASDAQ:VRAZ) the leading provider of Multimedia Generation Network application, control, and bandwidth optimization products, today announced its partnership with LS Cable of Korea to develop Quadruple Play Service (QPS) solutions for service providers in emerging markets. As part of the agreement, LS Cable will now deploy Veraz’s world-class ControlSwitch™ VoIP switching platform to deliver improved interconnection, enhanced security and reduced OPEX. LS Cable and Veraz are actively working together to deploy the QPS solution with a service provider customer.

LS Cable’s QPS solution provides voice, data, video, and mobile services over a converged infrastructure, resulting in increased profitability and convenience for both the service provider and its customers. The LS Cable solution includes innovative improvement over existing Wi-Fi technology and is currently being deployed. Veraz will also license its ControlSwitch Class 5 (C5) software to enhance LS Cable’s QPS system to support full session control with an integrated C5/IMS base core.
