Xtreme Business Solutions Announced As Siemon UK Certified Installer Of The Year

Siemon, the global network infrastructure specialist, has named Xtreme Business Solutions as it's 'UK Certified Installer of the Year 2011".

The award was presented by Siemon regional sales director Rob Tansley who said, "Xtreme Business Solutions has achieved a 55 per cent year on year growth with its Siemon structured cabling systems business. This would be very impressive at any time, but to achieve this in the current difficult economic climate is quite spectacular."

Xtreme business solutions, headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, first qualified as a Siemon Certified Installer in 2007 and has undertaken many significant infrastructure project installations using the full range of Siemon copper and fibre structured cabling solutions. Many of these, such as Consafe and Talisman are in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries in the north of Scotland and very recently a landmark data centre project for St Andrew's University which was highly publicised earlier this year.

Accepting the award, Xtreme contracts director Cameron Murray said, "We work across a wide range of industry sectors with a particular specialism in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries where absolute quality, reliability and dependability are crucial, this is where we find the Siemon solution set absolutely ideal. We also find that customers in other sectors want that same peace of mind from installing the best infrastructure."

According to Xtreme, the company has grown to establish 'technology centres' across the UK and in mainland Europe. As well as oil, gas, petrochemical and universities it has customers in many more sectors including construction, M&E contractors, local and national Government. It is equally at home with new-build and building refurbishment projects and of course data centres.
